Carb Coma
Hi there!
I know… I’m so bad. Shame on me for disappearing for so many days…
I’m sorry, I’m sorry.
I have posts drafted and queued, I promise. They’re just not all… posted. But soon! Holiday cheer, holiday forgiveness!

A thin slice of cappuccino cake for breakfast

Plus a banana (or a few) for the road
My little cousin Olivia went off to Vermont to go skiing with her uncle. Last I heard, there’s no snow in Vermont.
Heh.
Union Station is currently undergoing renovation, and was blessed with all sorts of photogenic scaffolding.
Otherwise, I’d grace you all with really bad, amateur photos of its interior. Or you guys can just watch Hannibal, or Strangers on a Train, or Wedding Crashers. You know.
But hey, Union Station won me over when one of the first signs I saw was this:

Oh yeah, always hongraaaay.

Sour cream and onion pretzel for a snack

Plus little cinnamon bites for snack #2 (in my defense, we packed up half to send with Olivia on her way to New York/Vermont)
Then over to Metro Center to meet a friend of mine for lunch

Potenza is an Italian restaurant with a really nice dining section (coupled with some of the swankiest bathrooms I had ever seen), and a little bakery connected off the side which doubles as a cafe for lunch.

Camden and I, being broke college students, stuck with the bakery side.

Margherita pizza!

And finished with a small bite of almond gingersnap gelato! Che perfezione!
